Crazy Christmas List Requests

Merry Christmas one and all! During this bonkers festive time of final preparation and wrapping presents late into the night, I thought I’d share a few of the funny things we’ve found on our kids’ Christmas lists over the years. I’d love to know I’m not alone in the quest for the ridiculous.

This year, our 4 year-old has asked for a doll that walks and talks and closes its eyes when it goes to sleep (thank you Peppa Pig) oh and a ring that makes you invisible. Not found any of those in the Argos catalogue yet.

Meanwhile, if you put aside my dad’s request for some Sainsbury’s fresh orange juice and a pack of bic ballpoint pens (fun-fun!), this 2011 Christmas List from our now-14-year-old has to trump the lot. It’s quite a corker and very specific… This first list was intended for Father Christmas:

And then, hedging her bets, there was a separate list for us. Only pretty necklaces allowed! She did get points for being so polite though…

Disappointing

The notebook was bent on arrival with a big crease along the middle. It was also much slimmer than I'd imagined, hardly any pages inside.

Poor quality

Really disappointed with my notebook purchase. The product is of poor quality and the lines on the “lined” pages are barely visible.
